Donating to the library is now easier than ever.
Simply fill out the form below and donate through our website.
If you would prefer to make a donation via mail or in person, you can download a donation form here and send or bring it in along with your donation. A copy of the library’s donation policy is attached to the donation form.
Donations to the library are tax-deductible.
The library acknowledges all donations to the donor (s) or to others if the donation is to honor someone or if it is a memorial gift. If you wish to speak to someone about a monetary donation, please call Tammy Bear, Library Director, at 334-365-3396 Extension 13.
If you wish to donate books or other materials, please call the library circulation desk at 334-365-3396 Extension 14 and speak to someone about the donation. If you have a large donation of books, bring them to the library’s loading dock at the back door of the library. A staff person will meet you and help unload the materials.

Donate Items to the Library
We are grateful for the community’s generosity and welcome donations of books and DVDs that can benefit our patrons. Please review the guidelines below before bringing items to the back door of the library.
Items We Accept
📚 Books and DVDs that are:
- Clean and in good condition
- Free of mold, mildew, smoke odor, or pests
- Intact (no missing pages, covers, or discs)
- Reasonably current and still relevant
- Collector’s or early editions in excellent condition
Items We Cannot Accept
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept:
- Moldy, dirty, or heavily damaged materials
- Books with missing pages or significant writing/highlighting
- VHS tapes or cassette tapes
- Outdated materials (for example: very old technology manuals, outdated medical or travel guides, textbooks, encyclopedias etc.)
- Magazines
Donations become the property of the library. Items may be added to the collection, used for programming, or sold/disposed of at the library’s discretion. Paper items that cannot be accepted may be placed in the paper recycling dumpster behind the building. Thank you for supporting your library!
