Aplus DVD Copy by Aplus Software inc. is a backup tool developed to allow you copy DVD movies to your hard drive or burn them to a new DVD.
Its features include the possibility to copy DVD-5/DVD-9 type DVD movies to DVD-9(Dual Layer) disc, supports the compression of DVD-9 type DVD movies to DVD-5, can clone CSS(Content Scrambling System), region, Macrovision and
SONY ARCCOS protected DVD.
When copying, you can choose audio track, include DTS Audio, Subtitles, movie menus and extras. For the output you can select to copy the movie to your hard drive or burn it with your DVD recorder.
It takes about half an hour to make a copy out of a DVD movie.
This application is really small, (less than 1 MB), it has a basic and intuitive interface, and the process is very simple, but presents all the basic features expected in a DVD backup tool. You can test it by downloading the limited trial version available at the developer's site.
