My acceptance to the MMin Program was a great blessing and an\u00a0 answered prayer. After my retirement in 2019 from the Philippine military\u00a0 as a 2-star General, I prayed for a school where I could formally study\u00a0 about God and the Bible to equip me for my next life journey of serving\u00a0 the Lord in our country\u2019s military and police organizations. Last July 2021,\u00a0 I was very surprised to receive a call (from PC) from Singapore asking me\u00a0 if I were interested to join their MMin Program. I was speechless for few\u00a0 seconds because the offer was exactly the program I was praying for.\u00a0 Glory to God! On my experience as a student, the first month was\u00a0 overwhelming for me as I was a retired man and already started having\u00a0 some memory lapses. But with the effective and efficient design and\u00a0 implementation of the curriculum, I was able to cope and enjoyed learning\u00a0 about God, the Bible and principles and the practical application of\u00a0 Theology. Every week, I look at every lesson not as an academic\u00a0 endeavor but actually an extension of my quiet or devotion time with the\u00a0 Lord. Each lesson\u2019s audio and video lectures and messages, along with\u00a0 the written study notes given to us weekly have allowed me to intently and\u00a0 repeatedly listen to God anytime and anywhere. The once-a-week Zoom\u00a0 class further reinforced my learning process with the summary of the\u00a0 week\u2019s lesson followed by a group discussion and applications in small\u00a0 groups.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The call to proclaim the Gospel is also a call to a lifetime work of “study”.\u00a0 God does not expect the bearers of His Word to draw from the stagnant\u00a0 pool of old sermon notes or ready-made sermon outlines but from the well\u00a0 of Living Water. The Masters of Ministry gave me the privilege to interact\u00a0 and discuss with my fellow pastors\/students and be refreshed with the\u00a0 lessons we study each week. This is one of the many blessings we\u00a0 received during this pandemic. God be glorified.<\/p>

Being part of the Masters in Ministry Program is one of my greatest\u00a0 experience during this Pandemic. The Leadership lessons are very practical and the insights are easily\u00a0 transferable no matter what the cultural context of the people are.\u00a0 Finally, the schedule and online classes are flexible. The facilitators are\u00a0 very friendly and always available to help with our concerns. The\u00a0 breakout sessions via Zoom are a source of encouragement to me. I\u00a0 enjoy this community where we share about our experiences with the\u00a0 Lord in the ministry and pray together.
