About APIIS

Incorporated in the Republic of Singapore Asia-Pacific Institute of International Studies (APIIS) is a Seminary that trains Christians in Asia and beyond.

Our students and alumni come from over 60 countries and more than 100 different faith traditions and denominations—all united by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a shared desire to expand God’s Kingdom.

Our instructors are not just seminary professors, but experienced ministry practitioners who have established successful 21st century ministries.

The MMin Program

The Master of Ministry (MMin) program equips students to master their ministries.

Students will learn biblical truths and principles in a manner that can be applied practically to enhance their effectiveness in ministry. The program is designed with a non-Western orientation to meet the needs of the fastest-growing segments of Christianity—in Asia, Africa, and South America.

Cost

The MMin program is provided free of charge to all students.

Duration

The MMin program lasts for 2 years.

Structure

The MMin program’s modules are grouped into three categories:

  1. Theology: Learn about God and the things of God—not to fill our minds with knowledge, but ultimately to serve God in a manner that pleases him.
  2. The Beautiful Book: Learn about how the books of the Bible come together as one beautiful book rather than 66 disconnected books.
  3. Practical Ministry: Learn principles and skills that are needed for Christian ministries to thrive in the 21st century.

Student Commitment

Each week, students are required to

– commit approximately 15 hours for self-study; and to

– attend and actively participate in a 2-hour class over Zoom, where they will interact with their classmates and can ask questions of the instructors.

Assessment

Students will be required to take a quiz at the end of each week. A student’s performance in each quiz will contribute toward his/her final score.

There is no requirement to write research papers or theses throughout this program.

Graduation Requirements

Accreditation

The MMin program is intentionally not accredited so as to deter students who wish to use the MMin degree for career advancement.
