I love writing in courier font. It makes me feel so legitimate.

In four and a half hours, I will be watching Wolverine! I am quite excited for this. Although it's not Gambit's presence that has me so excited, I have to admit. He's cool, sure, but. Deadpool. Deadpool trumps all.

I'm told that if I want to make it professionally as a screenplay writer, I should go to UCLA. I really don't want to go to UCLA. Oh dilemmas. I think this is a sign that I should stick to my comic-writing dreams for now.

Happy May, though. I missed seeing the Morris dancers at the lighthouse at dawn (again). Kicking myself over that now, but hey, at least I got two cups of coffee this morning. That ought to count for something.

Also, I need to work out how I'm going to deal with posting fic here (on Dreamwidth). I know a lot of people just post it to their journal, which could work. I don't really want to have a separate fic account here - for one thing, what the hell would I call it? I could create a community, I suppose. Or I could just hold off until the Archive of Our Own updates and post my fic there, with links here. Or I could link to Livejournal. I will have to think on this.

For now, writer's block!

So. This Dreamwidth stuff is pretty cool. I've been tweaking my settings for a while, and sort of getting a feel for how it works (and also eating dinner). This is more of an experiment in crossposting. Hi, Eljay! I'm actually crossposting to aopt, not iambickilometer, because I figure I'll probably post more blog than fic.
