Suzanne Duff specializes in the history of early modern Netherlandish art. Her dissertation on the Antwerp Saint Luke's Guild studied the corporation's impact on artistic production and artistic identity in the city between 1556-1663. This research was supported by the Belgian American Educational Foundation, the National Gallery of Art Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (CASVA), and Brown University.
She is currently a Visiting Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Antwerp and is collaborating on the development of a new project, Art and Music in the Southern Netherlands (1450-1700).
