Efficient Handoff decision schemes are required to improve Quality of service (Qos) and offer reliable communication. The handoff decision depends on many parameters such as Network Bandwidth, RSS, delay, packet loss, power dissipation and power consumption. A plethora of handoff decision algorithms are existing, This paper proposes a Decision Process as a best decision making strategy as it chooses the best attributes such as RSS, Throughput, power consumption, velocity, during Vertical handoff for seamless communication. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is proved through simulations.

Reprogramming is essential to update the changing requirements and also to fix the bugs in sensor nodes after it is deployed in a hostile environment. It is impossible to manually reprogram the sensor nodes once it is deployed. Hence, the sensor nodes are reprogrammed remotely and automatically without manual intervention. The queries, commands, small values, code packets or bulk data are disseminated to the sensor nodes. This paper proposes a survey of reliable bulk data dissemination protocols their features, strength, and weakness which provides insights for further research.

Encouraging the students to improve in the area were they are lacking behind is necessary. In this paper we propose a system where the staff members can update the student records in areas like academics, technical skills and participation in extracurricular activities and viewing the same whenever necessary. Further we implemented the adaptive DBSCAN for clustering the students based on their performance in various areas. Based on the resulting clusters the staffs identify the performance of each student and the students’ progress can also be monitored.
