
Meng Yie V Si Toh
Vernice Si Toh is a practicing psychologist at the Spectrum of Life Integrative Wellness Centre. She received her BSc (HONS) in Psychology from Sunway University and her MSc in Clinical Child Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, United Kingdom. She presented a research in “The effect of prolonged attachment to transitional object on anxiety level and sleep in undergraduate students” and found that people with different levels of anxiety who uses transitional object had a strong impact on sleep quality. She is also a certified Neurotherapist (S.B.C.I.A.) and a member of Malaysia Psychological Association (PSIMA) as well as an International Affiliate of American Psychological Association (APA).
Her area of expertise is in handling children cases as well as to improve their well-being with the use of EEG biofeedback. Before pursuing her Master degree in United Kingdom, she was exposed to different cases of special needs child as a therapist and school teacher/ private tutor. She is familiar with cases of Autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, dyslexia and etc. In addition, she often joins home visits to orphanage to have a better understanding in the needs of children in current society. These have boosted her experiences in tackling those common issues in children such as delayed speech, restlessness, slow learners, anxiety issues and also attention problems.
