Australians don't do Halloween, although in some places it is catching on. Either in trendy innner city suburbs where everyone is concerned for the environment but drives a 4WD and can spend spare change on cheap trinkets or down an out suburbs where its "cute" to dress up the little darlings and they spend their social security cheque on cheap trinkets for the brats.  (am i cynical tonight??). Whatever....the Chinese treasury is richer for it.

One of my workplaces where teen girls live in secure care celebrates all sorts of cultural festivals so the girls were dead set on Halloween....2 days late of course.  I went as the obligatory wizard.
