Boulder has always been the brightest dog at the adoption center. A smart, charming Labrador retriever, he has continued to win the hearts of many, especially the chief caretaker Annie. Boulder always had a special affection for her and spends his entire day with her.
Boulder’s charms managed to impress a suburban family, who agreed to adopt him. Although their parting saddened Annie, she was happy that her best friend was finally getting a home.
Boulder became a good part of the Robertson family. They were a kind family of three. Their daughter Agnes also became attached to Boulder and he became her ultimate companion. The Robertsons got him a tag with his name etched on. Boulder felt weird wearing it since it was his first home, but became accustomed to it.
Years passed as Agnes grew into a rebellious teen, but her love for Boulder never faded. In a twisting turn of events, a new female labrador just moved in the neighborhood. She was called Tiffany and lived right across the street. The Heffleys owned her and didn’t have much amicable relations with the Robertsons, but Boulder and Tiffany gradually became fond of each other.
Unlike Boulder, Tiffany was not a fan of pet tags and refused to have one. She was also disobedient and the Heffleys’ negligent nature reflected in her personality. Finally, she ran away from home.
Boulder worried for her and so did the Robertsons. They tried to cooperate with the Heffleys but Tiffany was nowhere to be found. One night, Boulder decided to look for herself and finally reached a park where she was hiding. They reconciled and came back to the Robertsons. Tiffany refused to go with the Heffleys, and the Robertsons gave her a tag, to which she happily obliged. Boulder finally lived the perfect picture of his life with Tiffany and the Robertsons.
