What does TQWL mean?
Tatkal Quota Waiting List (TQWL), also known as Tatkal waiting list, is a type of Waiting List (WL) that is generated when a passenger books a Tatkal ticket on Indian Railways.
When a passenger books a Tatkal ticket on Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and all the confirmed Tatkal tickets are sold out, they will be placed on the TQWL.
The chances of confirmation of TQWL depend on the availability of seats and cancellations of tickets by other passengers.
Note:
TQWL tickets are typically considered to have the least chance of confirmation.
