What does TPU mean?
Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is a category of plastic created when a polyaddition reaction occurs between diisocyanate and one or more diols. TPU has a unique molecular structure that provides good compression set and high resilience, along with resistance to impacts, abrasions, wear and tear. It is very soft and more fabric like, less plasticky. TPU has many properties, including elasticity, transparency, and resistance to oil, grease and abrasion.
