What does STC mean?
Sensitivity Time Control (STC) is a circuit in radar receiver use to control the gain of radar at set intervals. STC reduces the gain at the time the transmitter emits a pulse then its increases the sensitivity; thus reflection from distant objects will be received and prevents the radar from detecting small objects within the short range.
