What does FUE mean?
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a hair transplant technique where hair follicles from the skin where the hair growth is the strongest is moved to another part of the body where the hair is absent.
With FUE hair transplantation, each individual follicular unit is harvested from the scalp in a random fashion through microscopic circular incisions on the scalp under local anesthesia and gets implanted in the bald area.
Note:
The hair(s) along with its associated structures is known as a follicular unit.
