14 day Warranty Against Defects

  1. Warranty Terms: Our warranty excludes items where specifically identified in product description or items with manufacturer’s warranty. We warrant that under normal use our products shall, at the time of delivery to the buyer, be substantially free from defects in material or workmanship and shall substantially conform to manufacturer’s product specifications.
  2. Warranty Duration: Our warranty lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since you received the item, we can not offer you a  replacement or refund.  
  3. Breach of Warranty: We shall have no warranty obligations if the alleged defect or non- conformance is found to have occurred as a result of environmental or stress testing, misuse, neglect, improper installation, accident, or as a result of improper repair, operation at voltages other than as specified by the manufacturer, installation of 3rd party firmware, modifications to cooling or airflow, overclocking above the nominal clock- rate, operation in an ambient temperature other than 32-85 degrees Fahrenheit, use with non-certified equipment, alteration, modification, storage, transportation or improper handling. Further, a computing product will be deemed to operate within its specifications if it varies within ten percent (10%) more or less than the performance stated in its specifications when operated at the nominal settings.
  4. List of conditions not covered by warranty: Our warranty only applies to defective and non-conformant products. Other reasons for returning the item are not covered. These include but are not limited to the list below
    • Any item with a manufacturer’s warranty such as but not limited to Bitmain, Canaan, MicroBT, Sealminer, Fluminer etc.
    • Any item delayed, damaged or lost by carrier
    • Any item with obvious signs of use or damage
    • Any item with 3rd party or aftermarket firmware. 
    • Any Item that was received more than 14 days ago
    • Any item that performs as advertised but was returned because buyer changed their mind
    • Any item that performs as advertised but was returned because of buyers inability or unwillingness to set it up
    • Any item that buyer claims defective but fails to substantiate the claim by providing video or images demonstrating the defect or non-conformance
    • Any item that buyer wants to return due to incompatibility with buyers’s power or networking infrastructure. 
    • Any item that buyer claims defective but refuses remote assistance
    • Any item that was immersed in oil, water, solvent or dielectric fluid
    • Any item with cooling modifications such as inline fans, aftermarket fans etc.  
    • Failure to load aftermarket firmware on the item
    • Failure to overclock, underclock, overvolt or undervolt the item. 
    • Attempted hardware repair by the buyer such as re-applying thermal paste on a chip, soldering  etc. 
    • Any warranty replacement items are not covered by our warranty.

Warranty Process

To be eligible for a warranty return, you must notify us via email about intent to return the item and include video or pictures that clearly show the defect or non-conformity of the item. Item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Buyer shall pay for shipping the returned items to us.  Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of the warranty claim. We will attempt to repair or replace the non conforming item under our warranty within 10 business days of receiving the returned items. We will cover the cost of shipping the items back to the customer.  

If the return request is rejected, the customer will be asked to cover for return shipping fees to ship the items back to the customer. If the fees is not paid within 30 days, returned items will be disposed. 

Out of Warranty Repair

We provide out of warranty repair for items that are manufactured by us such as BitChimney and Urlacher.  Out of warranty repair cost is $100 diagnostic fees plus parts and labor ($35/hr). Please email us at [email protected] to request out of warranty repair. 

Refunds

Refunds are issued only if repair or replacement is not possible.  Shipping costs and payment processing fee are non-refundable. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days. 

A restocking fees will be charged if refunds are issued for returned items. Our minimum restocking fees is 15% of sales price, for items that are returned in original packaging in new condition. Used and damaged items will incur a higher restocking fee. 

All our prices are denominated in US Dollars and as a result all refunds are made in US dollar value of the item, irrespective of the fiat or digital currency used for purchase. 

Order Cancellation

In stock items maybe be cancelled before they ship. Please email us with your order number and cancellation reason to request cancellation.  If your cancellation request is approved, we will notify you and issue refund to the original payment method within 3 business days. Payment processing fees is not refundable. Items that were pre-ordered or backordered can not be cancelled.
