Steve uses many different tools to live and engage in life. The blessings of technology to improve our quality of life is significant. We want to share about what we use and how it impacts our lives.

Steve relies on evolving health tools—from breathing aids to nutrition—to stay alive and well as his needs rapidly change.

Living with ALS means more than survival—Steve values grooming, style, communication, and entertainment for a fulfilling lifestyle.

Computer tools and software helped Steve keep working early in ALS and continue to support his productivity today.

Our Frankfort home has all essentials on the first floor with wood floors for the power chair, plus smart upgrades and tweaks after moving in.

ALS progression requires tools for moving and transfers—helping Steve stay mobile at home and beyond, never stuck.

early stage

July 2021 – November 2022

From first symptoms to walker
