There are many things I am, and many things I am not.
I am opinionated and passionate about my beloved subjects. I am protective of those I love, quick and swift in anger. I do not deal well with bullshit, misogyny or ignorance. I am blunt, I am honest, I am often impatient. Sometimes I aim to amuse.
I'm jaded in fandom these days and prefer to remain on the sidelines. I just want to enjoy what I'm into without getting into childish flamewars about 'ships' and whatever.
I'm quite happily child-free and pro-choice. I enjoy roleplaying, but I don't have a lot of time or energy for it these days. I admire dedication, passion and loyalty; for I endeavour to give that in kind to all my friends.
My passions are varied, often fickle, and mostly mutable with a few constants, and include the religion and history of Ancient Egypt and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, gardening, cooking, politics, curling, hockey, beer and Canada.

I am also the caretaker ofmarysues, though not its original founder. Kielle was its creator and I am simply looking after it for her in the wake of her passing.
