Shawn Christensen is a screenwriter, film director, musician and actor. Christensen is a graduate of the Pratt Institute where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration and graphic design. Christensen was the frontman with the rock band Stellastarr. He won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for his 2012 film Curfew at the 85th Academy Awards. In 2014, he made his feature length debut by writing, directing, producing and starring in Before I Disappear, based on Curfew.
