What I'm doing now

A snapshot of what's on my mind, updated periodically. Last updated May 2026

At work: Senior Software Engineer at Codexpert. Deep focus on EasyCommerce — AI-driven product management, multi-vendor marketplace features, and performance work. Shipped several extensions to the WordPress.org repo this quarter.

Portfolio: Iterating on the site — better SEO, refined UI, tighter content. Treating it as a live system, not a launch-and-forget project.

AI tooling: Using Claude Code and MCP daily for real engineering work. Built a portfolio MCP server with 46 tools covering posts, projects, stack, AI panel, and more.

Open source: Active on WordPress.org — plugins, Polyglots translations, and Gutenberg block contributions.

Reading: The Staff Engineer's Path by Tanya Reilly. Picking up Go for systems tooling.

Joined weDevs as a Software Engineer, working on **Dokan** — the WooCommerce multi-vendor marketplace plugin used by 50,000+ stores. First month has been steep: learning the codebase, reviewing PRs, and shipping small fixes while building context. Side projects: continuing work on `wp-pgsql-database` (WordPress on PostgreSQL) and maintaining my existing WordPress.org plugins. Reading: *The Pragmatic Programmer* (20th anniversary edition).
