How your Akismet subscription works

We have four different paid plan options: Personal, Pro, Business, and Enterprise.

Your Akismet plan is a recurring subscription that will renew every month or year, depending on the plan term you select.

This subscription will renew automatically until you submit a request to cancel the subscription. Plans do not expire automatically.

To cancel your subscription, you can follow the steps here.

Note: Akismet uses WordPress.com user accounts for account management. In order to manage your Akismet plan, access Akismet billing information, or update Akismet payment methods, please log in using your WordPress.com account.

Transferring subscriptions between accounts

Your Akismet subscription is connected to your user account and your Akismet API key. If you need to transfer the subscription to another account, please contact Akismet Support.

We cannot transfer Akismet Personal plans. If you want to move a Personal plan to another account, you will need to cancel the current plan and resubscribe under your other account. During this process, your API key will change, so you will need to update the API key on your site(s).
