If you got an email that removed you from my friends list, please ignore it. That was me just making a mistake trying to remove deleted journals. I think I put things back the way they were. I hope. Tinnu and Erestor are embarrassed for me.
Like Phyncke, I too skipped all the whining and flailing on LJ over the story writing process, although neither one of us really skipped it. It just wasn't on LJ. We're in the same time zone and we chat or text virtually every day, even if it's only to check up on each other, so we did lots of whining there. I do have to say, I haven't been able to complete a story so rapidly in years. For the first time in ages, it felt like the muses had returned. What a nice feeling.
I'm still doing Weight Watchers, 4 years down the road, and still keeping off the 100 lbs I lost. I see a personal trainer once a week who is just wonderful for people, shall we say, of a certain age. She tells me I'm doing burpees, even though I touch a stool instead of the floor, and sit-ups, even though there's a pilates ball under my back. The important thing is it's all working and I've gotten a lot stronger. Doing squats I'm sure has made a big difference (again modified because I hold onto a bar for balance). Definitely helps with leg strength. The proof was when I tripped over a cord and managed to get up off the floor within 15 seconds (after the pain stopped, that is.)
Work continues - Lots and lots of projects in the hopper, about 4 of them with my name on them. Keeping me out of trouble for sure.
It's been miserable hot here and we had several days of everything covered in ash and smoky skies from all the fires. I really do hate this time of year because of the fires.

Goodness, it's over 6 months since I posted here. Life just seems to move so fast and by the time I'm home from work I'm usually dead on my feet. I'm still participating in the Fic swaps - and huge thanks to Kenaz and Red for keeping those alive and letting us keep our fingers in - so at least I have the occasional new story posted over at A03. I've also managed to get all of my stories up over there, including the early saccharine ones :).
New kitty Sherlock, who's not so new now, has taken over the house and thinks he controls everything. He's also a huge treat hog and gobbles his so he can steal Salem's. Bunny is still living the life of a princess kitty in her own separate room with all the comforts possible because she hates Sherlock. Something has completely spooked Salem and his feral nature has resurfaced big time, but he's slowly starting to come around again. I'm just giving him space. I took this one of the 2 of them hogging the floor heater a couple weeks ago, right before something must have scared the heck out of Salem.

I've been doing a terrible job keeping these up! Life just seems to be wildly busy lately, or the days are getting shorter. Hope you're all doing well. A very blessed Easter and Passover to those of you who celebrate (and even those who don't). And please give me updates to the listings!
