Also a sketch I hadn't posted yet.

And still working on the illustration book with my buddy Socar! I swear, I'm totally one of those artists who itches to show work even though it's supposed to be kept secret...


I'm really proud of some of these so far!

Organized my site a bit!

Aside from the new front image:
-Transplant, my Nice Guts Vol 1 story, is now linked in the comics section.
-Comics are split between finished and on-going, to keep fresher updates at top. I will eventually make a separate section for Picnic on the Moon which will also be ongoing.
-Sketches are numbered and linked off the art page instead of me forcing viewers to trawl my directories.

I am getting things ready for Fanime, and more cons in general. NG 0 and Picnic will be ready in a week, as well as a brand new postcard, and probably stickers and magnets. I will also be counting and restocking prints today. Lots to do! (And finishing the next Acrobats page, of course!)

Starting "Acrobats" this week! :D

I will probably do 4-6 pages to start off and then go to a weekly update like Discon did. Not sure when things will be up, considering the holidays and all, but look for it soon.

I'm not so impressed with Zaire in this picture. Here's a crop with just Faris for detail.

This sketch is about 6 months old at this point, but I did say I'd go back and color it. And when I go long stretches of time without showing you guys anything, I get sad. :<

I will now be working on putting prints up for sale on the site. They'll be up later tonight. I have them here, and about 2/3 are packed in their little sleeves (my cat chewed up the rest... that furball is lucky I love him so much.)

Design for a card I'm going to leave around at YaoiCon, and have at my table. The actual card has text on the sides.

And updates on Disconnect? KaBlam has my info and files of the comic. I am waiting for them to go through and approve them for printing (they doublecheck to make sure it's the right format/resolution/size and that there's no porn in it), at which point I'll be able to set it up for sale at Indyplanet.com. I have no idea how long that may take. You gaiz, you gaiz, you have no idea how great the guest art is, I really can't wait to sell this thing! Also, there's an extra four page comic added as an epilogue/sequel of sorts, too. But I'll expound on that when we get to it.

I've been keeping my shoulder to the wheel to get this baby done!

I have a few really nice guest art pieces already. They are amazing. If you buy the comic for nothing else, buy it for the guest artists!

Eating Disorder

It started out as another P4 fanart, believe it or not... But it ended like this.

I am strengthening my resolve to stop being insecure and frightened and send my newer work around to editors again. After my trip in July/August. Resolve is now steely!

Lots of things! First, remember that inking tutorial I posted a while back? I never posted the finished image because I thought I might color it, but it just didn't work out. I'm not enamored with the finish, but I like the feeling of it.

I realized I have like NO backgrounds in my art, which is kind of a no-no for certain fields of illustration I'm looking into, so I colored a pair of comic panels and put those up. Why do more work than I have to, m i rite?
