...I don't know if I should be amused that half of those "KAWAII! SEKUSHII!" comments actually came from mothers. (One of them said she let her kids take an afternoon nap before looking through the book XD;; another one looked through it with her kids) But it does lessen the guilt of drooling at an underaged teen. XD

I think I'll do one for Amane Gakuen's Amamiya Sei. When I was playing for Chiaki, I became interested in him instead, because he pretty mysterious. ♥ But I'm kinda distracted by P3P at the moment...

First of all, Chiaki's school, Jinnan, is the school you need to duke it out against in the semifinals, so I skipped the "show your worth!" mini-competition as well as the quarter-finals. So yeah, all the stuff in the intro isn't included in this post, jumping straight to the part of the game after the quarter-finals.

There won't be any truly rabu-rabu/kyaa-kyaa events in this post, because they all take place after you've beaten him. This post is mostly the er, build-up to the semifinals, so mostly on his personality. (Sometimes I wanna smack him, sometimes he just makes me go :DDDD ahahaha why so conflicted, self.)

And some parts of the conversations wouldn't really make sense if they were literally translated word-for-word, so I tried rephrasing them. Take everything with a pinch of salt since there's probably mistranslations as well. :D;; I also refuse to call him "Tohgane" baaah I don't like it when "u" gets replaced with "h".

Yesterday was full of lulz, from the pre-concert stuff, to the concert itself (Uematsu-sensei is sooooo cute) and the post-concert Q&A session.

This will be public for a while, in case sai_rin wants to link to the Q&A section or something. It's like this:

We had to sacrifice one thing for another. But I won't deprive anyone of the Q&A section, so sai_rin, you get both autographs and Q&A tidbits. You lucky person, you. :P

Quick rambles on VK game, since I have completed one round. Chased after Zero, of course. Not very in-depth, since I had a problem with the sound and wound up skipping most of the text, therefore enabling me to finish the game in two hours! Compared to the usual 8 hours for each gameplay for other dating sim games.


I DIDN'T EXPECT A KISS SCENE :OOOOO

In terms of dokidoki factor, I didn't find it exactly dokidoki. As in, I didn't squeal and all that every time Zero or Shiki turns up. The only time I squealed was probably when you are given an option to let Ichijou suck your blood, which is rather... strange, considering that despite being a vampire, he's not exactly a bloodsucker and probably the least vampiric of the night class guys. So uhm, yeah, that rare chance where he wants to taste your blood made me go AIEEEEEEEEEE SENPAAAAAAI.

Game is in the visual novel style which means I actually skipped a lot of text. I would listen to the guys talk since they're fully voiced, but their voices sound strange. I mean, I was using earphones and the voice quality is kind of robotic and low. Even at the highest volume, sometimes I can't hear Kaname talk properly and Zero doesn't sound like Mamo when he's talking, only when he's making those grunting, "I need Yuuki's blood" sounds or yelling. For dating sim games, I still like Koei's Neoromance style best, sorry.

Also watched the first episode of Kamen Rider Decade and... it's quite cool. 8D;; Sadly I only recognise stuff from Kabuto onwards, because I don't remember much from Ryuuki. So I only understood the attacks from Worms, Fangire and Imajin, but went O__O? at the seafood monsters. Oh, I know Hibiki uses musical instruments or something to attack, but monster-wise, I have no idea. And I'm not fond of series where Riders fight one another, so I hope this won't turn out into a fightfest like at the start of the ep...

September's also the release month for the 1/8 scale Miku figure, so collectors are probably gunning for her instead of the twins. Probably. But on the other hand, one can't underestimate Vocaloid fans O_o;; I mean, 10,000 Miku Nendoroids were ordered on the first day pre-orders opened.


Speaking of Miku Nendoroid~ Sis was like, "Wtf why do you need TWO?!" (Because Miku looks like a character I created in 2002 and therefore I am biased.) If they're making Nendoroid versions of the Vocaloid charas, will we get a Gackpoid one too? I told my younger bro, "The next Vocaloid will be Gackpoid." and him, "GACKT?!" *snorts at his reaction*

Playing Eng version of Crisis Core because I gave up on the Japanese one, too confusing and... I realize I react to things real slowly. Every time that "no MP used" thing popped up, I will somehow forget to abuse it by using moves with MP until like 5 seconds later... And Lazard is so gaaaaay. Also.

One of the reasons why I like Vocaloid's Kaito is because he looks similar to Minato. O_o

I think P3's ending theme KIMI no Kioku (Memories of You) wouldn't have been such a sad song if he didn't sorta die at the end. T_T; Com'on, I can't be the only one who choked during his last moments in the game.

Scanned in loads of stuff while listening to some furoku CDs that come with magazines... like that Geass Radio Special. I kind of snorted when listening to the radio show being taken over by Lelouch and him Geass-ing his own seiyuu. I mean, seriously, Lelouch talking to Fukuyama Jun is strangely amusing. It's like:

*door opens*
Lelouch: The seiyuu called Fukuyama Jun and Sugiyama Noriaki! Are they the two of you?!
FukuJun: EH?! Y-y-y-yes, that's right w-w-w-wait we're on air right now--- EHHHHHH?!

Lelouch wants to go on air so FukuJun and SugiNori are like, "It's not so simple..." and "This guy is so reckless" and in the end Lelouch tells/Geasses them to stfu and takes over anyway. XD;; And then he tells Rivalz that he doesn't know radio controls stuff orz;;; (Rivalz, "Listen Lelouch, this is where you talk." I THOUGHT YOU KNOW EVERYTHING, LULU) and questions the name of the radio show, why it's called "YamaYama" (Fukuyama + Sugiyama) etc. He later changes it to RuruRuru and Rivalz thinks that he has no naming sense.

And then Lelouch proceeds to badmouth about a demon living in his room and gets a phone call from C.C. who's apparently listening to the broadcast. XD;; He tells her to shut up too and "What's wrong with telling the truth?!" before cutting her off. When she calls again, he tells her to eat her pizza instead and cuts her off again.

...There needs to be some sort of fanart for the radio shows. D:

Yeah, yeah, Suzaku gameplay yay. Usually when I play dating sim games, I tend to go for my favourite characters as summer88 has mentioned XD;; and then neglect the rest. But then I saw a Suzaku-Rai CG in an ad so I was :OOO I WANT THAT CG and ended up playing Suzaku's route in the Britannian chapter. orz

And speaking of going for favourite characters...

Need to replay Neo Angelique game again, since I am determined to catch Rayne no matter what. I wonder if that online guide I used to cheat my way through for Haruka 3 has a NeoAnge page too...

[Link instead?] I was like WAO when I viewed the trailer on TV. Looks even better than Haruka 3. I guess that three-month delay was kind of worth it if I'm going to get pretty Persona 3-like graphics. (It was supposed to be released in March and I pre-ordered in January, imagine my PAIN when the release date got pushed to June.) I'm gonna go for Chi no Suzaku/Nagi, that bitchy-like boy/classmate you first see. *icon* Which is kind of strange, because I wasn't too fond of the Chi no Suzaku characters in the previous Haruka games. And actually the team in the trailer is kind of my ideal team, because I like Nagi, Kazahaya and Oshihito. Heh. That's why I like Neoromance games, at least they're not the visual story book kind, because those kinds get kind of boring after a while.

Because yesterday's a public holiday and I took today off, I keep thinking that today is Sunday, only to realize that I still have two more days ahead of me before Monday. Ah, how nice. ♥

I spent almost two hours walking down the Orchard Road stretch yesterday trying to find a fsking money changer >:E Considering that it's a tourist/shopping area, there should be bountless money changers, no? The usual one at Ngee Ann City I always go to would only change for 10,000 yen. I tried the one inside Takashimaya and they would also change for 10,000 yen. Walked to Kinokuniya and checked out new manga for a while, before walking to Cineleisure but still couldn't find one. (Okay, I checked only the basement and 1st storey.) Crossed over to Heeren, the so-called trendy shopping mall, but no money changer! But the information counter guy said that there's one at Orchard Point, so I went there. Finally someone who would change for 7,000 yen!

And then I crossed back over to Cineleisure to go to Rapid Culture and see if they have Figma Lulu in stock, but apparently he was sold out. Uuu. (I had around $30 extra due to weak US currency which means my game+shipping bill is S$219 and not S$250 as estimated :D!) Walked all the way back to Kinokuniya to buy some manga.

Lol old laptop. Sent my Vaio to Sony Service Centre too for repair =_= You know, I'm kind of glad Figma Lulu was sold out so I could buy Corda 10, because there's the textless TsukiHino pic on the inside of the front cover sleeve! Geass manga is so messed up that I'm confused.

There's also an ad at the back of Corda 10 with a half-sketch of KAJI. WHY YES ♥ With text like, "There's a new member participating in the Corda World?!" and a line with something like, "Don't wait for the next volume, check the monthly LaLa ne? ♥" which sounds so Kaji-ish. I hope Kure Yuki's seriously going to permanently include Kaji in the manga now eeee. He's my favourite guy in Corda 2! Anyway there's also a Lamento manga which I initially picked up, but decided to put it back. I like Konoe, but I'm not too familiar with the canon since I haven't played the game. Because the cover of Rai is cool-ish, a guy picked it up and was probably pondering to get it or not, and added it to his pile of manga to buy. I almost felt like telling him that it's based off an R18 BL game so there may be BL hints...

Code Geass ~Lost Colors~ first gameplay. Which may be boring, because I didn't get an ending with any of the characters. Playing Suzaku's route now, he makes me lol so much what with the whole, "...Have you seen a cat?" "AGAIN?" "...Yeah, again." and pudding-buying. As with my Hinoe gameplay post, I no longer bother trying to brighten up the camera images hur hur.
