Playing games can be fun, that's a fact. But how can a game become more immersive and more addict... more Playing games can be fun, that's a fact. But how can a game become more immersive and more addictive to the gamer? Graphics, advanced AI, challenging scenarios and improved gameplay were the first things that someone would look into to find what makes a game addictive. But things are a little bit trickier during game development. Bringing new elements into an existing gameplay is a good sign for the games to come. Giving the player new experience and new options is surely awesome, given the fact that players are ready to embrace a new way of experiencing videogames.

In order to do that, every game must have four essential elements: players, actions, payoffs and information ("PAPI"). But all these elements are common in all games. What is that element that makes a game unique? Storytelling predates writing, and it was the only way at some point to tell a story and pass it on from generation to generation. Nowadays, we often see a new term called, gamification. What is gamification and what relation does it have with storytelling? Is storytelling an essential element to gamification? Gamification as a term is nothing more than taking game mechanics and applying them to something that already exists in order to motivate and make it more appealing. In this paper, we are going to discuss how storytelling affects gamification in general.

Recording specific assets of our life and monitoring our human nature, makes us transform into a unique "key" for unlocking security systems. Videogames often use some biometrics systems as part of their gameplay. Is it only in gameplay, or is it becoming a part of our lives? Modern security systems use biometric data to secure our precious information and possessions. If so, is it ethical to store our data and use our body as means to security? In a posthuman way, is it everyone's choice how to use arcane properties of his/her human body? Over time numerous scientific studies have been performed indicating that the human species have evolved from a primary mammal to a complex security system. If the above statement is applicable then it rises some ethical issues and some questions that need to be answered. Are videogames the "messenger" of the future?

Is every avatar in videogames posthuman, if so what criteria should this avatar have?
