Similarly, marriage is the smallest, but the most significant institution that builds a family to shape the society. In today’s modern society, there is a lot of stress in the world outside, which is leading to the detachment and separation from one another. Individuals are extremely caught up in their own lives to a point where they completely forget about the purpose of marriage and their duties towards each other. Therefore, determining the role of both the partners in a marriage is fundamental as it facilitates a healthy, blissful, satisfying, and a lasting married life. In order to understand the duties and responsibilities of a married couples in Islam and Buddhism, it is highly essential to understand the essence and the key sources of both the religions.

It is universal and totalitarian nature rejected all forms of architectural traditions and history making the buildings in one country or city identical to another therefore losing its cultural uniqueness. The buildings were designed based on the obsession with zeitgeist (spirit of time). It kept the mechanical technology beyond the needs of the people and hence, making it an anonymous or blank in character “Dumb box”. It was and is still considered the architecture for the masses. The architects were not sensitive to the site or the context of the buildings that consequently led to the increase in the energy consumption. Production and use of new materials such as concrete, steel and glass has had massive influences on the environment.
