ABS Borderlands Groups.io Guidelines

The ABS Borderlands Groups.io platform is a communication platform that distributes messages to subscribers on an electronic mailing list.

Thank you for being part of the ABS Borderlands mailing list of the members and affiliates of the Association for Borderland Studies.

The ABS Borderlands group is a great way to announce academic events, publications, fellowships, scholarships, etc. It is also a great way to solicit the advice of your peers, benefit from their experience, and participate in an ongoing conversation on topics relevant to border studies.

To ensure the best possible experience for all subscribers, please follow these simple guidelines.

Send your communications directly to [email protected] and always use the subject line to identify the purpose of your message.

Do not address your message to any particular individual, but to all your colleagues in the ABS mailing list.

Do NOT use the list to thank someone for sending information, or to say hello to a colleague.

The "Reply all" function is disabled on this group. You may reply directly to the original sender only. If you select "reply all" in your email application, you will receive an error message upon sending.

Remember to put your name, e-mail address, affiliation, and contact information in all of your messages in case someone wants to contact you personally instead of posting a public announcement.
