Able2Doc Professional allows you to convert PDF files to DOC and ODT formats.
Unfortunately there aren't many applications over the Internet that integrate OCR technology and allow you to convert scanned files to editable formats.
This program brings you a wide variety of features, like fast conversion, access to a large amount of output configurations (select page range, area to convert, etc.), built-in search engine and many others. Plus, you won't require much experience in handling this type of converter as the interface is simple and its settings are easy to configure. An important advantage of using this conversion tool is that it can convert PDF files not only to DOC format but also to ODT, a format that can be edited by any OpenOffice application (OpenOffice is an open source suite of programs).
The only complaint I have regarding this program is that it doesn't support batch conversion, meaning that you can convert only one PDF file at a time. But if you can overlook this disadvantage, then this application is definitely for you.
