First, it will explore various definitions of globalization, the common theme among them and identify few dimensions of globalization. It will then look at mainly 3 theories -World Systems, Time-Space and World Society/Modernization -in finding the various approach and understanding of the subject. In addition, we shall also incorporate different views of Eastern school of thought -to expand the understanding of 'globalization' in attempt at establishing more accurate historical legacy of globalization.

In Malaysia, public schooling system is divided into two parts, the elementary primary school and secondary school. With the increase in the number of intake every year, in makes it harder for the educators to monitor the progress of their own student. Work load of teachers are heavier and they spent more time doing administrative job rather than the actual tutoring task. In order to help ease the growing number of pupil and the task related with education system, a student monitoring system must be implemented. Automated monitoring and reporting system will becapable of handling the growing demand by guardians ofthe students, and will give a better and error free reporting and analytical view for the administration of the school. This proposed automated education progress monitoring system will be implemented in primary schools, and will be handled by an administrator. The teachers would simply enter all related data that they have and let the system come out with its analytical reporting based onthe data fed. It will consist oftwo major functions, one is for administrators and teachers to inputdata, and the other is an online reporting tool that would enable teachers and parents to view the progress of their children. Therefore, the proposed automated system will be able to handle the growing numbers and problems related to monitoring pupil by the school.

Is religion evil? Are all conflicts religious, if not, why religious conflicts attracts more attention? This essay will look at the various attempts at defining ‘religion’ and the relation between those definitions with concept of ‘secular’ state. We will then proceed to look at the relation between conflict and religion, on how religious conflict is viewed to be more impactful to international political stage by utilizing the theory of ‘internationalizing domestic conflict’.
