I'm sorry, I know I've been failing at comments/replies lately. >___<;; Thank you so much, loves, for the support in the last post. This week has been complete school festival madness, and I mean that in a good way. I, I have an exam tomorrow, so photos will be up after that.

Instead, today, have short translation bits of Arashi on Ousama no Branch 2010.07.03:

Why is Sho laughing at Ohno like that 8DCollapse )

Good night, loves. ♥

Okay, so there is a crazy lady in my womb dragging her claws down and ripping things apart, but I think I'm holding up well at work! Except, well, I only have one class today - thankfully - and I've already made lesson plans for the next chapter for the first and second years, I've graded all the kids' assignments, and I'm... too lazy to look up stuff for my winter trips. *sheepish*

I kind of wish I could use the time to work on my translation projects (l-lol priorities what) but I can't, therefore, um... well.

Give me a pairing and a prompt!

And you get a retarded drabble like a Hanadan/Maou/Yamada Tarou crossover I wrote for kiyoshiro, whom I blame entirely for the bunny. >:

Or, you lovelies could also tell me what you're up to right now. ♥

+ Happy birthday alfard_alshuja, angelamori!! ♥ Want anything from the land of love and crack?

- bluestraggler's left for Kyoto. I never know whether I love or hate it when friends visit. Love it because it's so awesome and fun and we can cook together and wash together and watch stuff together and chat the evenings away... hate it because eventually, we'll have to part. I already felt a little sad when she packed up the futon; the guest room looked so empty. Then, right after I dropped her off at the train station, I broke down just looking at the empty passenger's seat asl;kdf. It's weird, 'cause it takes someone to come in and leave, before I realize that I may just be feeling kinda... lonely. ^^;; Also, am I the only one, or does the waterworks flow a lot more easily as you loves grow older, too? .////.

+ Tokyo Dogs!!! Cut for spoilers!Collapse )

- I am so behind on a translation project, it's not funny. Doesn't help that all these great new shows are coming up and I'm dying to work on them. Utaban SP today, for instance. I gotta sink my teeth into that one. And I'm sort of interested in working on Nino and Sho in Nepleague too... but I feel like someone is probably already working on it. Does anyone know if a subbing team has already put a claim on Nepleague or anything? It's long and will take time to work on, so I'll just let it go if it's taken.

Also, Nino's little hamburger fingers raping every single person on his team in the last few minutes? I APPROVE. *___*

+ The students continue to be awesome. I now have a second year student doing a diary exchange of sorts with me, and a first year student teaching me how to play shogi afterschool. In English, I might add. Very impressed with him.

Meet the old cast with the newCollapse )

PS: oh god oh god the cute, tanned teacher I mentioned before just picked up my scarf from the floor and said in a very masculine way, "これ、落ちてたぜ Your scarf dropped." And before striding off, he smiled.

This country and their men sal;kjdf.

PPS: Flipped on the TV just in time for a rerun of Uta no Oniisan episode two. Nothing helps more than Ohno's tanned, pouting face.

PPPS: What what what another Johnny's group debuted this year and it's another big group with an older boy and lots of young little jailbaits? Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I Shadow or something? What??

In fandom-related news, I'm actually busier irl thanks to the extra 4-hour English lessons a day, s-so some projects are going to be delayed.

Dear Odin Sphere,

You are so, so beautiful. But I have to ask.

WHAT IS UP WITH THE DAMN ITEM SPACE.

I actually had to restart a level because I had foolishly equipped a Draw Ring that wouldn't let me drop items out - it automatically picked the damn things back up right after I dropped them. So, I couldn't pick up the new items needed to finish the Alchemy tutorial and continue the game. FYI, I wouldn't have to drop items out if I had enough item space to begin with.

Also, Small Bags should not be so expensive.

Long story short: spare some thought for packrats who like to hoard food and Napalms before boss battles, plz kthx.

... in other news, I am getting off this bloody BC pill. To sum it up:

Bro: At least now you know how it feels to be pregnant.
Aki: I will throw up on you.
Bro: You already did that when you were a baby, honey.

What is up with today??

First, I received a call from a number I didn't recognize, and it turned out to be Sekino-sensei. I'm sure all of you who know Sekino-sensei would understand that I literally felt my mind explode when I heard the familiar "もしもし? ()さん?" In fact, my first response was, "はい、はい!え?ええええええ?。。。じ、じゃなくて、ご無沙汰しております!!"

It was sweet of her to call b-but... when did I ever give her my cellphone?

Then, because the Principal's secretary was going to be in late, I was to fill in her duties, one of them being the task to get substitute teachers. OF COURSE, two teachers call in sick, half an hour before classes start. I had to call the list of subs on our hands, then I had to call a service that would help look for subs, all while the assistant dean is yelling my name on the walkie-talkie ELAINE HAVE YOU FOUND THE SUBS YET ELAINE MR. (INSERT NAME) ISN'T GOING TO BE IN EITHER ELAINE DID YOU COPY THAT as;lfdkj.

You know what's the funny part?

I loved every minute of it. ... I'm weird huh.

And of course, a perfect end to the day:

D: [walking into office, with cake]
Aki: What's the cake for?
D: [grins] Ms. L. I'll save you a piece, shh.
Aki: [grins] Sure you will.

D: [leaving office, still with cake]
Aki: Aww, she wasn't in?
D: Nope. Don't worry though, I'll still save you one.
Aki: Haha, thanks.

D: [presents a napkin with a piece of cake]
Aki: ... my god I thought you were joking.
D: C'mon, I don't joke about that. :(

NEXT POST COMIN' POST-JLPT. Thanks to all you loves for the best wishes, and good luck to all who're taking the test! *hugs tight*

ATTN OHNO/JUN FANS. H-Have you seen this video where Jun looks like he totally chu'd Ohno really hard. And Ohno has that, "What just happened? Are there cameras? Oh my god there are PEOPLE here," look on his face after the deed. *_____* [edit] Link updated to an accessible Youtube video instead! Enjoy~

I actually started the morning by waking up completely and utterly terrified. At what, I have no idea, but all I knew was that my heart was racing, and I couldn't bring my body to move, at all. But it's impossible for Satoshi Day to go wrong and sure enough, two hours after I came to work, my students quickly cheered me up again. Talking to Keiko-sensei helped a lot too.

To all who made recommendations for the DS, thank you!! ♥ I've decided to look up these games:

-Ouendan/Ouendan 2
-Princess Peach
-Mario Kart DS
-Animal Crossing
-Rune Factory

I, I think that's about it. So far, I've already placed orders for Phoenix Wright, the 1st and 3rd games, as well as もっと脳を鍛える大人のDSトレーニング (Brain Age: Train your brain in minutes a day 2). I'm going to have lots of work for Hayato to do when I'm done with JLPT. There's also Arashi translations that I want to work on, and Gakkou e Ikou MAX stuff. *squiggles* Can't wait to plaaaay.

... I'mma make time to watch Shukudaikun tonight though, damn. Anything with Sakuraiba in it with sexy dancing - A++++.

The jlpt.info site is slowly but surely driving me insane.

It's easy to locate the past papers, but the problem is finding the answers. How am I supposed to know if I did something right or not without the answer key?? So, suspecting I overlooked something (l-like I usually do), I checked the message boards - and yes, people are asking for the answers, while others are replying, "Look more closely at the site, dumbass!" ... in polite Japanese, that is.

Yet I still see no answers as;flkj.

I found an answer key for JLPT 2006, but even then, the girl who posted it didn't post a full answer key.

angelamori, h-halp. ;;

In other more gratifying news, I have a new friend.

My brother is an angel for introducing Hayato and the Zelda game as an early Christmas gift, as is stridingsky for the copy of Phoenix Wright JfA, way waaay before I even really considered a DS. *_____*

... yes, Hayato, after Akaba Hayato from Bando Spiders whut. S-Such a passionate red.

So, after JLPT is over, I have two things in mind: watch JE videos till I pass out and play with Hayato all day long.

That said, do any of you loves have any recommendations for the DS? (Ordering more Phoenix Wright games and Japanese equivalent to Brain Academy as we speak...)
