Yes, you need to suspend some disbelief and certain facts might be exaggerated - all of which sadly never occurred to me until I described the plot to a friend and she looked at me like my head was on fire - but if you're into watching movies for its characters, their tragic stories and heart-felt interactions, then I say check it out if it's in your country. Basic premise: three elite North Korean spies were sent into South Korea to infiltrate the slums and await orders. Trailer can be found here.

I haven't been this inspired to write for a long time; my first thought out of the theater was: MUST WRITE FIC. Which is a far stronger reaction than my initial intention to write fic for Jaeger pilot Pacific Rim crossovers lololol.

The recent OP manga chapters and a Mihawk cellphone strap from a student have sent me diving right back into OP... and my favourite pairing for the series. But I've started to realize that there's a severe lack of fic for them, not to mention doujinshi, which is dominated by Zoro/Sanji or Sanji/Zoro.

Utaban translations tonight, woohoo!

/o\ /o\ /o\ - First, a JTE canceled a first-year class in the first period, because he wanted to do more Grammar lessons with them. Awesome, right? WRONG. One of my second-year JTEs revealed that the periods have switched - my lesson with her was now in the first period and it's with the entire class of 40 students, not the usual 20, because the other JTE was late this morning. (This matters, because the activities I plan are for 20 kids; it meant that I had to do some fast rearranging.) Now, the JTE who was late this morning tells me she wants to have TT class in the last period. What is this, let's throw Aki out of the loop day? orz

♥ - A huge kudos to a P4 English dubbing team over at Voice Acting Alliance! They're working on a full project of the first Persona 4 Drama CD and have completed track one. (Direct link to Youtube coming up.) They did a great job for amateur VAs, and Teddie, oh my god. He sounds almost exactly like Teddie's original VA. And I'm not going to lie; I'm pimping this partly because I'm so excited and honoured that they used my English transcript as a basis for the recording. I've never had any of my works used in this fashion before, so. just. Happiness. I definitely can't wait to hear more tracks soon.
