Based on the “Reuse Booster” model, the ByCycle Initiative – or Bicycle Booster – is intended to bring together, train and set in motion stakeholders in the real estate industry to encourage cycling in cities. To transform our mobility behaviour, Icade, jointly wit A4MT and Onepoint launched the BY CYCLE initiative to raise awareness, support, and pool contracting authorities around a positive momentum and a community reference benchmark. The goal is to initiate 1,000 projects by 2030, by redefining the use of cycle parking facilities and their access, thus improving the quality of buildings as ‘home bases’ for new forms of mobility and as key players of decarbonisation.
