You know, I have it very funny that so many "Green" advertisements use turfgrass.
People go on and on about how horrible golf courses are and how they pollute the streams and kill birds and whatnot. And yet, in green advertisements like the ones below, what crop do they chose? Turfgrass.

( moreCollapse )The truth is that golf courses are strictly regulated on their pesticide and fertilize applications. Truly, the worst polluters are homeowners who think a little bit is good so that means a lot is even better - apparently, they haven't heard of a bell curve.
I could go on and on about the benefits of turf and all landscaping, but I will spare you.
Just something I noticed awhile ago and still chuckle when I see turf in yet another "green" advertisement.
