Convert SEG-Y files to SEG-Y revision 2.1. Add extended text header stanzas or data trailer records. Concatinate all relevent information into the SEG-Y file.
Convert SEG-Y files back to SEG-Y revision 0 or 1 for enabling loading to Geoscience applications not supporting the latest revision.

A Geoscience application can't load SEG-Y files with extended headers.
