Apart from Duke Fakir’s 2022 memoir, there are no substantial works of biography or criticism of the Four Tops in print. The following is a list of books in which the Tops are major or minor characters, along with some essential cultural studies and histories of Motown and Detroit. Subsequently is a list of articles which relates the Tops’ story in fragments.
