Our Venue

In 2026, FOSS Backstage Design will once again take place at the former transformer station bUm in the district of Kreuzberg.

The venue boasts a mix of listed substance and modern fixtures and offers plenty of room for exciting talks, relaxed conversations and networking. With a spacious main stage, light-flooded winter garden, welcoming foyer and a couple of modern meeting rooms, it provides #FOSSDesign with everything it needs.

bUm is fully accessible for walking impaired participants, easy to reach by public transport, and its central location in the popular district of Kreuzberg makes it a great starting point for some post-conference explorations of Berlin.
