This could be my shortest post - ever!
Just off into Auckland to pick up this nice win on our local online auction site:
Also, I discovered the Wellington based Pot Belly Miniatures 3d printing is still operating, so a small order went off to them, too

Looks more like Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHaha - yes, I am confusing my Christian celebration up a bit Jon!
DeleteLots of good stuff there to keep you occupied at the painting desk.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter - yes, indeed - although I must not let it distract me from clearing out the bulk of the back log - Frech Hussars in work at present and planned thereafter are three boxes of plastic WSS - two of cavalry and one of infantry - enough for two more regiments of GNW Russians and twelve squadrons of horse.....
DeleteHappy Easter to you ! Looks like a real Soviet build up occurring.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe - with no exciting new eras on the horizon, adding to existing collections is my plan for the next wee while....
DeleteLook forward to seeing these painted up
ReplyDeleteCheers Scotty - despite my comment to Peter about not allowing distractions.... the eight infantry AND one of the tanks are already assembled!
DeleteMore Soviet goodies, look forward to seeing them painted up Keith.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Donnie - in theory you should have to wait a few week - but you never know!
DeleteA lot of great stuff! 😮
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter 😁
Thank you Michal - and it has been a great Easter!
DeleteAnd a belated Happy Easter to you and yours Keith:)! Mind you, given the time of the year, it does feel more like an early Xmas treat;). And talking of treats, I see Wargames Atlantic have released a box of French WWII female partisans, which I immediately thought would be of interest to you...
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve - a bit cooler her too now although still mostly nice and sunny - supposed to change though.... and thanks for the info on La Resistance!
DeleteWhen too many tanks is barely enough! Keith, have you been channeling Stalin? A great addition to the Soviet 1st Auckland Tank Army! 😂
ReplyDeleteHaha - feels a bit like that Ben - I will have to suggest a Kursk based game for the lads!
DeleteGreat looking kits, and good to hear your local 3D vendor is operating.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. Hopefully the new guy produces the same quality product as the original one did!
DeleteYour WWII Soviet force must be massive by now Keith. They look like they will be good additions.
ReplyDeleteHi Lawrence....you know how it is when you get enthusiastic about a period ... I must have around 20 28mm tanks now... I doubt they will all ever hit the table in one game, but you need options...i cant use late war tanks for Barbarossa or Stalingrad...but I don't want to take on Panthers and Tigers with early was T34's! The madness continues....
DeleteNice buy Keith ….strangely I have made a similarish purchase myself recently
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt....I look forward to seeing what you bought sometime soon!
DeleteCan't be bad Keith, Bargain's are hard to come by nowadays.
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray, that seems to be the case!
DeleteHappy Easter! Better than eggs, sounds like lots of Russians of various kinds on the horizon!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Cheers Iain - definitely better than eggs - BUT, I had plenty of those too, as well as Hot X Buns!
DeleteDeffo Xmas early for you mate. Lots of cool new toys to get painted up tho!
ReplyDeleteCheers Dai.....looking forward to getting hhe 3d printed stuff, that's for sure!
