  • List pending updates:
    checkupdates
  • List pending updates and download the packages to the pacman cache:
    checkupdates --download
  • List pending updates using a specific pacman database:
    CHECKUPDATES_DB=path/to/directory checkupdates
  • Display help:
    checkupdates --help
